Mystery [Mega Thread]

  • First time jumping into this thread, it has just been fascinating to watch this all play out, and apologise if this has already been brought up earlier in the thread; but have we ruled out the fact that HSEESALL, is an anagram of Seashell?

I have no basis on where this might lead, but I thought it was worth mentioning since I only just noticed it. If we were to plug it into the custom PigPen cipher, it fills all but one of the spaces, so, maybe Seashells?

  • Hi !

Yesterday Sea of thieves official twitter talked about Blackcloud wrecker fish …
Could it be some clue maybe ?

  • So I haven’t been keeping track of this for the past few days, how far are we into figuring the final stage out?

  • @ipartyanimal83 We received a hint telling us how to solve the word search, and indirectly telling us that the number of words in every line for the HSeesAll puzzle is significant.

  • I found some things that could refer to clouds that are right in the phrases. Acid (line 1) can refer to an acidic cloud. There are two configurations of smoke (lines 10-11), which can refer to a smoke cloud. In the case of smoke, I would take whatever is behind the starting letter because the ending letter was to the right of the starting letter. If my theory is correct, we will probably have something like "Beware: Imposter, Ruffian, ect" if we go by the phrases, and "e, r, n" if we go by letters (which seems more likely). Regarding the letters, I think there are 12 of them (the cipher we used to find the HSeesAll account required 18 letters, and Horace is six letters, so I assume we need 12 more. Then we will probably find something with the cipher that will give us more information on how to solve the rest of the puzzle), and that they form an anagram or a word that can not be accurately guessed with inly some of the letters. Also, some people pointed out that cirrus (line 12, surric spelled backwards) is a type of cloud, which gets us a "k" regarding the letters, and "Kettyship" regarding the phrases.

  • @gshemuga a crab is a Decapod

  • They specifically call out afore and state "what comes after?" Which is cloud. Afore cloud is a cloud that is directly in front of something. This could mean fog, shroud, veil. I don't think we should ignore their clues lol. The map itself has an H smack dab in the middle of it. When everything lines up. There is also 123 coins around the boarder of the letters they keep posting. This is everything I've observed so far.

  • @sir-reginald317 They stated "what comes afore this word," afore meaning before in the context. While afore can refer to a forward position, that would not make much sense as the context describes a word.

  • One word afore (before) CIRRUS (cloud) is SHIP. There is a cloud in the shape of a ship in the SOT sky . . . . .

  • So, I’ve search on my own way but maybe it will be interesting to share with the community cause my brain near to explose...
Maybe, and with a majuscul M,
maybe we have to count the number of coin but not all... count how many in North, East, South and West.
After doing that Im using the puzzle words, and start to the first letter « b » and I count 18 letters on up, etc....
After doing that I found a suit of letters, with an anagram tool I found the phrase : « saw east gate end »
    But I m over !

  • Will whatever S stands for fill the rest of the blanks with MONARCH EAGLE SNAKE? Or will it be a short word and need one more after it?

Someone got Cirrus with SHIP, which is one of the constellations found in the SoT sky in game.

  • All the constellations are on the picture of the chest as well. Connecting them based on previous clues, forms what resembles an hourglass. Idk if this means anything or if I'm going crazy.

  • @sir-reginald317 HOLD IT, you said it made an HOURGLASS? Taking a look at the four square map and Reaper's Hideout has their symbol of the Hourglass.

  • I dnt know but I see than the Eagle is on the East, the Snake is on the South, the Warrior King is on the West... but no idea about the North !??!

  • @sir-reginald317, @ImpyMidna2303

The Hourglass's coordinates are I-13 on the map. Though, if we're only looking for a word, I'm not sure that will help us.

Maybe we need to find the word that comes before 'Hourglass' in the dictionary?

  • Here are all the words dcode could find in the word search puzzle
(I had to remove 2 words out of this list, because of restrictions)

  • @lucky11 TIME is on the word search.

  • @dezertigel The Great KRAKEN is the North Constellation in the game.

  • These x’s in the word grid puzzle.
The phrase “x marks the spot” comes to mind whenever I look at it. Not sure if it leads to any new ideas though..

  • @impymidna2303 a dit dans Mystery [Mega Thread] :

@dezertigel The Great KRAKEN is the North Constellation in the game.

Yup I see that however the Warrior king is not on the plan clue for the 3rd puzzle — snake word to find — so I questioning myself why it’s appears on the picture of the chest and not on the plan

  • @dezertigel Theres also the star map that shows the FISH is on top where NORTH is. But idk if its right. lol

  • Hello, this message is in the profile description of the h @aforecloud account

With your hair, all brown and drab,
    you're not a snitch, you'll never tell.

OX XO XO XO XO XX
XX OO XO OX XX OX this translate to I AM A RED HERRING
XO OO XX OO XO XO

Tra Vex Fur Ang Tra Tra
    D R O W N D
This could be a clue to a combination of letters. Not sure if this will help.

    TRA = D or N
    Vex - R
    Fur = O
    Ang = W

  • @x-arkemist-x aforecloud is not an official account. It was created on june the 1st.

  • @x-arkemist-x
I tried putting it through a four square cipher and got this: BTMYOC
I cannot make any sense if this.

  • @andynotfound123 its a red herring

  • @x-arkemist-x
    A red herring means:

    1. a dried smoked herring, which is turned red by the smoke.
      OR:
    2. a clue or piece of information that is, or is intended to be, misleading or distracting.
  • @andynotfound123 Meaning this is a fake lead? Thats why H gave us those real accounts.

  • I rearranged the order of THWODDLNFR to the order of the message that came along with the
    anger = W, revenge = H, curse = T, furious = O, Torture = F, Loser = L, Vexed = R, Traitor = N, trapped = D, Meddler = D.
the order of the given paper is Loser, Trapped, Revenge, Meddler, Traitors, Anger, Vexed, Curse, Furious, Torture
    LDHDNWRTOF,
the 4 square cipher reads KDKANVRTCH
    no clue, any thoughts?

  • The letter posted by skullcannonball has 9 coins, added to the two posts that both had 123 coins surrounding the letters, we get a total of 255 coins.

  • Also, besides AFORE being a pirate talk for "Before" could it also possibly mean A4 like on the SoT map?

  • Has anyone tried using the first letters of HSeesAll to find words on the other 4 accounts?

Each of them has a triangle, pointing to a direction...

  • Someone said AFORECLOUD could be AFORTCLOUD??? Is that talking about the picture with a SEA FORT next to the ship with the Defaced Sails?

Or perhaps its talking about a Skeleton Fort with the Skull Cloud above?

  • The cloud in Aforecloud does not necessarily refer to a cloud in the sky. Cloud can be used as a verb, its definition being "make or become less clear or transparent." Interestingly enough, hide is both simplistic and can refer to cloud as a verb. Perhaps the words we seek are not all on the right page.

Edit: Hide was the only cloud related word on the left page that I found. So if we assume hide to be the first word (and since it is on the left I assume it is), we have "A livid rage created by written promises of..." as context for what to look for regarding cloud names on the right page. Three things I noticed on the word search that can be promised are gold, relics, time, employ, find (as in the expression: "a great find"), and possibly heart.

  • Heres locations of each Sea Fort and Skeleton Forts in case they got to be viewed on the map.

    SEA FORTS

Imperial Crown Fortress = B-11 = The Shores of Plenty

Ancient Gold Fortress = F-19 = The Ancient Isles

Old Brinestone Fortress = K-21 = The Ancient Isles

    Traitor's Fate Fortress = S-6 = The Wilds

    SKELETON FORTS

Keel Haul Fort = C-6 = The Shores of Plenty (Could C6 mean SEASIX like in the WORD SEARCH?)

Hidden Spring Keep = I-8 = The Shores of Plenty

Sailor's Knot Stronghold = E-14 = The Shores of Plenty

Lost Gold Fort = H-17 = The Ancient Isles

Fort of the Damned (previously Old Boot Fort) = L-14 = The Ancient Isles

The Crow's Nest Fortress = O-17 = The Ancient Isles

    Skull Keep = P-9 = The Wilds

    Kraken Watchtower = L-6 = The Wilds

Shark Fin Camp = P-5 = The Wilds

    Molten Sands Fortress = Z-11 = The Devil's Roar
