To sell a good game and keep it interesting, you guys need to make a lot of things into a variety. I am talking about many different swords with different move sets, many different pistols, shot guns, and rifles, more models under the galleon and sloop classes (Like different hull shapes, size, ext.), much much more enemies, more variety between islands (A volcano would be cool), and MUCH more bosses.
From what I am thinking there is, there are only going to be skins on swords and guns, but no difference between them.... So, I wanna bring this up to hopefully have the developers think of adding variety.
SWORDS
Swords are the main classic weapon for pirates, but it's not just swing-swing-block-swing. It's more like swing-thrust-parry-disarm. But since that won't happen, let's just bring up a few different kinds of swords and talk about them individually.
Cutlass: The main sword used in the navy, thick and short to fight onboard ships. They are primarily made for cutting but there are ways to thrust with them.
Rapiers: Primarily thrusting swords that are much longer than the cutlass, and don't block very well. If you replace the "Right Click Block" for something else like a Parry (Deflect their sword and attack them) that would be much better.
(Also there was a rapier teased before. let's hope they see it as a thrusting sword)
Colichemarde: This mouthful of a sword is basically a rapier with a very thick base, to allow to block and deflect larger swords and attacks.
Saber: Like the cutlass, primarily a cutting sword with a point for thrusting, but the curve of the blade, the tip, and length all vary.
Mortuary Sword: A very strange sword, kinda like a broadsword or backsword. A longer straight blade with a good balance for thrusting and cutting. (And my personal favorite)
Falchion: These are cutting-only swords. No way on thrusting with them. They are devastating cutting swords that would easily cut through cloth and leather.
GUNS
Guns are the second weapons that pirates must use. But since I don't know much about them, I will only put down the class and add pics of the variants.
Pistol:
Blunderbuss:
Rifle:
Other:
SHIPS
Ok, most likely there will only be two classes of ships, the galleon and the sloop. BUT, there are many variants of both of these. So, to lessen the complications I will put 3 different kinds of galleons and sloops.
Sloops:
Galleon:
Other ships: I know I just said there are only two kinds of ships that might be in this game, but I know for a FACT that other ships other than these were in the Caribbean. so....
Carrack:
Junk:
Ketch:
Xebec:
All in all, I think adding different kinds of sails, hulls, paintjobs, figureheads/beaksheads, cabins, and flags would make a HUGE difference to many's outlook on this game.
Enemies: I am sure there will be more enemies, but I should jot down ideas but no images bc I can't find any.
Swordsman Skelly/Gunman Skelly: Already in the game, they primarily use either the sword or gun.
Sniper Skelly: These would be much harder to find. They shoot you from far away, if you are on land or on a cannon.
Scouting Skelly: These may be the upper three, but with an added thing... they call out to their friends to get them all to where you are.
Sirens: These might be in the game already, vicious mer-folk that make your drown or poke holes in your ship.
Humboldt Squid: These... these could be different from sharks. They are much faster, they damage you, and they pull you down farther to try and drown you to make a good meal. They flash white and red when attacking (And comes either solo or in a pack.)
Witches: These hags aren't out to help you, but.... well you already know what witches are.
Giant Serpant: This is a boss that is depicted in a lot of novels. A giant serpent roaming the oceans, coiling around ships and crushes their crew. Might be easier than the kraken(?)
All in all, Please Rare, don't let the weapons, ships, and enemies be in a cookie cutter format and make the game stale. Please.
