@abovejupiter697 it says its a passage but its more of two rocks next to each other really. Took me ages to find that one myself.

@abovejupiter697 Sometimes it can be awkward just keep trying to hug it and try it fro diffrent angles.
Remember you also have to hold the map in the air, with RTnor the mouse button :)

I think its the west side of the main island (leads up from the shore), near the entrance to the gunpowder tunnels.

There's a statue of a snake with a snake basket on it that says "Tartan" and has the number 8 on it. Lift your lantern next to the statue.
Hi,
Narrow path with big snake symbols on rocks opposite of each other is on west side of big island. Hold lamp high here.
Narrow passage to gunpowder tunnels is west side of the island, play shanty here, just outside of the tunnel. This took some slow walking around outside the entrance to enable.
Found lots there, 2 kegs, rare sugar, chest and coop as well as riddle reward.
@charger1627 I thought it was the statue of the snake at the shrine as well, but it is not.
There is a painting on a rock of a big red snake surrounded by people worshipping it, that's the snake god you're looking for. (Middle island I believe, but unsure as I stumbled around the island over and over... XD)
I walked around the island over 10 times before I stumbled upon it, it's a lot easier to spot when it's daylight.
Edit: Once you spot it you'll facepalm yourself, I know I did... It's huge... XD

Aye that just be some scraggy old worthless piece of trash left behind to appease the snake god.
The story goes that there was an eccentric Scotstralian who visited the Sea of Thieves. After spending many, many days there being slowly driven mad by his crewmate, he wondered why there weren't many animal species on the islands. Pigs & chickens but no predators.
This got him to thinking, what we be an ideal predator for the islands. Snakes!! Yes he wanted snakes!!!
He strongly believed that snakes had there place there & did everything in his power to make his crazy vision a reality.
Sadly his vision became reality & we are now hindered at almost every turn by the pesky spitting hissing critters!!

No, of course it wasn't, it was our Deckhand down under Tartansnake 8s easter egg. Awarded to him for going on & on & on & on & on & on about snakes in the game..........oh & for being sort of helpful, sometimes ;)
@abovejupiter697 one of the 2 outer islands has a path that leads toward the beach with a snake head statue on both sides of the path.sometimes you have to be in just the exactly right spot for the things to work.
