Ashen Chest of Sorrows

    Just a simple idea, an Ashen Chest of Sorrows to replace the normal one in the Devil's Roar. Give it whatever % bonus gold ashen loot gets, and have it cry boiling water instead of normal water.

    Yeah, I like this.
    It can still sink the boat as usual, players in contact take damage whilst bailing hot water, or if they are holding the chest. Certainly makes it region specific.

    Extra danger = extra bonus :)

    I like the idea.

    I am surprised by the lack of new chests in the game with each update. The only ones we got were the ashen ones which are cool but are pretty much a reskin of the ones we already have.

    We want new chests! lol

    Don't forget The Ashen chest of a thousand grogs either. Want some strong rum with a burning aftertaste :)

    @knight-regius Yeah I was debating about suggesting one of those also. The only problem was I couldn't think of a good effect to go with it. Maybe make its drunken effect work in an AoE so you'd be drunk even when you're trying to get to the outpost to sell it.

    I like this idea, me and a friend were discussing ideas for more cursed chests and this came up. We also had an idea for an Ashen Chest of 1000 Grogs (Or Chest of a Million Grogs) which makes all players within a certain radius of it drunk. Meaning having it on board will result in your entire crew being drunk while sailing which we thought would be hilarious.

    I think more cursed chests is something we're in need of as they're an interesting challenge with a high payout but currently there isn't much variety

    I love this idea about the Ashen Chest of Sorrow crying boiling water. Makes perfect sense! I'm sitting here trying to think of an idea for the Chest of Grog. Maybe the Ashen Chest of Grog could cause you to vomit on yourself, making it harder to see to get the chest back to the boat.

    The chest was always lacking in the curse department.

    @notthebeeze I agree. I personally love the cursed loot in the game, since I find them to be unique and fun to deal with. I was thinking of something similar for an Ashen chest of 1000 grogs. It would also be great if someone tried to board your ship to steal it, and having to fight while both of you are drunk.

    Exactly the scenario I was imagining, would definitely provide some quality game clips of 3 feet drunken no scopes in the midst of battle
