i reckon once a week having a small boost (like gold rush so 1.5x) to hourglass rep would be good for HG's heath, it would also bring some new players into hourglass and make for a time where there are lots of people queing. but IMO if it was more then once a week like gold rush it would just get ignored so advertising a weekly night where there's the bonus would let people plan to do some hourglass during the 2 or so hour event. would love to your thoughts

@hurtwillcam10 They had Hourglass Fight Night which turned out to be a massive mess.
A lot of casuals complained about sweats dumpstering them.
Also a LOT, and I do mean a LOT of cheaters where present during this time.I think they will have to figure out a lot which I doubt will happen, if they want to make another fight night.
@veronik5682 mostly because crud launching was still in the game during the fight night. People were cheating without having to use hacks.
@hurtwillcam10 i think the best way to do this would be incorporating it into the guild. Let each guild pick an hour every night for extra gold and a day once a week for extra gold, rep, and allegiance. This would heavily incentivise actually playing with multiple guilds instead of just working on the same one every night.
I was on the fence with this. On one side I feel for people grinding after seeing cheaters targeting the events to prevent progress on these nights, on the other side I see so many loss farmers show up only on these night (even tonight during ghoul and glory).
It is not hard and is very reasonable to get to level 100. If you're expecting anything more than base Skeleton and Athena blessing with minimal effort then I would say no. Just queue up this weekend and I guarantee you will get 5-10 levels from loss farmers in a few hours. 8 of 12 matches tonight for me were loss farmers and you get close to 1 level per win during this event.
Exclusive cosmetics require effort and that is why they are sought after. It has meaning of adventure and perseverance that only a small portion of pirates will attain, and it's like that in a lot of games. Some things should be rare.
I spent 18 hours on day 1 searching for the horn of fair winds and had the Midnight Prowler sails by day 3. When they reduced the number from 250 to 100 I didn't bother using them as they lost meaning to me. On the other side say if they increased the Shrouded Ghost spawn rate (I have never seen the Shrouded in 254 days played) I wouldn't feel rewarded seeing it.
@veronik5682 cheating is gaining an unfair advantage. Exploiting and hacking are both cheating. You are abusing the rules to win in either case.
