I was thinking about alot of different things while messing around with a bit of creative writing.
And I was struck with a thought somewhat out of nowhere.
WHAT IF...
Players had the ability, to write their own journals and/or stories, personally composed shanties for instruments, screenshots (Artworks), or even player written general game research or encyclopedias... from in game that's stored in a new (or existing item chest)
other players can access this chest and look at, read, listen to, or if they like it enough, even buy a book or tune from the player who wrote it, with ingame currency (gold or doubloons) to have it available on their boat to access at any time.
I feel like this would alow MANY different talents of many, many people to flourish and be expressed from within the game itself. It's also a new way to spend and earn gold aside from the current fetch, find, or fight methods.
We would have renowned ingame story or song writers..
Professional photographers, or even Sea Of Thieves experts who create infomational literature... and they can sell it to other players for in game coin.
A cool thought.. I recon.
