As all of saw on the closed beta, let it be through gamplay experience or videos, Sea of Thieves is an awesome polished game that, with the help of it's loyal community, can become the best pirate game ever. And as soon as possible, the devs should add harpoons. Imagine how effective (let alone awesome) it would be a harpoon weapon that could have increased damage against whales, sharks, etc, and could attach to other ships; grabbing them from behind. It wouldn't be broken since it is a rope, it can be cut off by the enemy crew. Lastly, you could use the harpoons to hunt whales, take their oil, and use it as lantern fuel or you could trade it to gain reputation with the trading guild. I can only hope for this and many more additions to this game and am looking forward to it anxiously and happily.

@zhulu-159er I would suggest you take a look at some of the concept art Rare has released over the years. Its full of goodies that they themselves [RARE] suggest are full of hints of what will be in the final released game :).
