I wondered what happened, it was such a pity!!!
I really was so glad to see you.... thought to myself yes!!!!!
I did get a bit excited, grog had be taken too... it's the pirate way!
I was carrying Merricks tune back to T26,
to meet back up with the friendly Galleon & Sloop.
The other solo sloop captain had completed the first part of THD, the Galleon crew ( one who was my pilot back ) had not done any of THD but really wanted Meg dead, you would have brought up our numbers to 7.
We Nobly fought Meg, cannonballs low, planks low, I swear we where so close.
1 Galleon, 2 Sloops... we should have taken her down, but sadly it wasn't to be.
Sadly on defeat, and respawning I was constantly pestered with a fresh spawn Galleon, it's amazing how one Galleon can change the feeling on what had been a pretty friendly server.
I was unable to get back to Meg, and the others.
On a side note... the friendly Galleon that was with us.
It had been pursued by a pesky sloop, for over an hour.
The Captains first words "Can we have cannonballs?" , I said "Of Course!, help yourself!"... always easier to gain trust & suggest Meg when you have gained trust, a really nice bunch of guys!.
Pesky Sloop sunk, "a band of brothers"
It was a great experience last night, although not successful.
Certainly one that will remain in my memory for sometime.
@pure-rare we will sail again together ( more than 20 seconds, next time ).
My excitement was you couldn't have joined us at a better time.
It was literally 5 minutes to Meg.
You could have been our difference...... I may try Meg later... one more time.
