@lefaux2 That there is something wrong with Admiral RRRSole's picture needs no further proof.
What we actually need to proof that there is a fixed amount of XP per chest are screenshots or recordings of the first 2-3 levels, when the impact of any variation of XP would be the biggest and therefore most visible.
I've got a friend who's about to do his first Athena at some point this week. I think he would provide some screenshots as he climbs, but this may take a while as he likely won't be up for Athena every day.
Edit: So, there's Admiral RRRSole's recording (thx @Admiral-RRRSole). As we can see, it was just bad timing and slow UI when taking the screenshot.
Looking at the XP bar (or ring ... what ever) this should match my progress after 3 chests. I might have a screenshot of that point. I will look for it when I get home.
@Admiral-RRRSole I still think you just forgot about a chest or maybe you didn't notice that someone turned an Athena chest in in another session, because all your other steps fit mine except your 2nd chest.
Taking your picture and your recording into account, there are only 2 explanations:
- chest 2 gave you twice the XP, but all other chest gave the same amount (maybe a bug made it count twice)
- chest 2 actually is chest 3 and the XP are always the same (or only have minimal variability)
