Phillip has spent his life romanticizing life on the seas and wants to earn his stripes as a pirate.
Easily manipulated, slow on the uptake, and unflinchingly chivalrous (even to those who would happily see him dead), if Phillip doesn't grow up quickly, he might not ever live to do so!
