Day 13
Shores of Plenty
You wouldnt want to settle down anywhere on this sea but if you did it might be here. This old place has only recently broke free of the Devil's Shroud but its now a beautiful spot attracting the friendly kinds of people we like. Maybe we can pick up something useful from a traders little shack and try things on for size under the perfect blue sky. It could all be trash but dont blame me. I dont think it will be trash though and we should push for a good price because you know people here tend to be in a good mood. At least until they realise there are still things around that want to eat you.
Ancient Isles
All those words I wrote about the merfolk hideout being impressive and kind of beautiful were true but that place has nothing on the islands in this place. I dont know who used to live here but I know that they werent pirates. They built huge temples out of slabs of stone or sometimes just carved a cave into what they needed and you can see their paintings and markings still. When pirates came here they learned some of the old ways like how to curse a chest or a coin stuff no-one wrote down I guess so now it's gone...
The Wilds
If it wasnt for the treasure this place would be deserted I guarantee it Nura. But hey guess what it is about the treasure so yes we are going. But we are leaving just as fast. Make a list. I suppose you would be suspicious too if pirates from miles around were dropping by saying Hey good to see you... when it isnt. And we love the place ... which nobody does. And only to get their hands on whats left of the goods in the wake of that big battle. Which is exactly what we are doing I know but I think we are more honest than most ... ...or try to be.
These are Diving Bel's descriptions of the three map regions. You can find these descriptions after he starts writing in the journal after Captain Flameheart.
