Megalodon Spawn Rate

    <The Meg>
    While the Megalodon is a neat addition to the game, it's seemingly very common.

    During each trip back to the Ancient Spire Outpost from the Forsaken Shores there seemed to be a meg that showed up to bite my boat a couple times.

    During the skeleton ship battles, they showed almost every time. For being such a rare creature they show up frequently and at the most inconvenient time. They aren't as exciting as or eventful as they used to be. Each time I see one now it's a long "UGH"Either because now they're a waste of supplies and have no rewards. The only way to get them off of you is to kill them and they bring an army of sharks with them in the water as well.

    @swordcrossx If you don't kill the meg when it spawns in it chases you around forever..my friends and I have figured out when it spawns in we just stop and kill it and we don't see it for the rest of the afternoon. We use to just let it spawn and try to run from it and it seemed like it was with us all day long..so if you don't kill it, it will follow you forever like a lost dog lol

    @swordcrossx Meg should be repurposed into a bounty mission where you are giving a last know location and sail there to summon and kill her. They could even add a hunt mechanic similar to MHW where you track her down by finding evidence she's left behind(ships with big chunks bitten out of them, etc.). She should be a REALLY REAALY rare encounter otherwise, so that it feels special and more threatening. Right now she's lost all her bite and is just an annoyance(she's not alone in that cough* volcano's cough* parchment...)

    @betsill Yeah I agree..I wish the meg was really rare to come across because then it would feel awesome..to find the meg every hr or so is just eh..but to find it once every 2-4 days it would be exciting.

    @averageheroz May have to try this because the meg comes around every 1-2 map squares while sailing,though always a different color.

    @averageheroz It does seem like every hour! Like when the Kraken happens (which is not often) I'm like wait... oh, oh lord the kraken is back! Kraken! Man the cannons, hurry!

    Megalodon is- oh that dam shark is back again.

    I just wanted to let you know, i'm very close to lift the secret about when and where which Meg appears..took me a time to complete my list of Meg encounters but finally there is a Cluster.Yesterday i knew there will be a Meg South West of Marauders soon..and i was right if you don't believe me, try to need the crescent Queen today West of smugglers Bay from 7 till 8 pm Germany Timeline
