    The Burning Blade came for us.

    We are no match for her infernal cannons.

    I made my choice. Into the sea went the chest

    The ships log will help us find it again.

    No one else shall take it!

    We will lure them into the wilds.

    Away from the chest.

    We made our stand in the shallows of an uncharted isle.

    The jaged spires of Crooked Masts to the fore.

    Old Crook's Hollow to the aft.

    My beloved Magpie's Wing lost!
    And with her, my dreams of the Shores of Gold.

    The ships log went down with the ship. Without it we can't reclaim the chest. Another may yet claim the Shroudbreaker.

    Magpie's Wing - Ship's Log

    6hr 30 Anchoring down on the south side of Discovery Ridge. Captain's gone ashore.

    6hr 47 The Burning Blade! We are fleeing to the East. They are turning to pursue.

    7hr 12 Passed a fortified island to starboard. Amending course North.

    7hr 34 Throwing the chest overboard south of a small island. Plotting new heading East.

    7hr 49 Passing a chain of islands. Burning Blade following. Maintaining course North East to lure them away.

    7hr 55 The Burning Blade is gaining. They will soon catch us!

    Magpie's Wing Log is generated in game, so the chest location differs from each run through.
    (I would wager there are a limited amount of locations though)

    edited for clarity, the ship is always in one place, the logbook tells different journeys when they throw it overboard.

    @dyfrin The Magpies Wing is always located at map coordinate N,13.

    The chest location is the what is potentially different each run through.

    Thank you for reminding me about the randomization of some of the Tall Tale quest books. I will make sure to mention it on this post and future posts with the Tall Tale quest books.
