Games crashing on PS5

I am currently experiencing the same problem so if you ever find how to resolve the problem I would like to know thank you

So I think it’s server issues. I was playing a game that 2 of my Xbox friends invited me too. I crashed, no lie or exaggeration, about 10 times in 15-20mins. At one point I connected back, moved a couple steps and it crashed again. We agreed we would all back out and I would invite them, managed to do multiple quests and deliver the treasure back to an outpost without a single crash. I have since joined a game, invited by the same 2 friends and no issues. So I’m putting that experience down to that particular server just not liking me. Very odd. I’ve not had any crashes in the past few days, so fingers crossed.
I’m playing on 120fps mode, have removed shake, blur and rats.

I have the same problem…Alone is everything perfect, but unplayable with my friends…i hope, they will fix it

Have crashed an approximate of 50+ times, this is the most annoying thing ever!!! This needs to be fixed

Same here! I literally crashed 40ish times earlier while trying to play with friends. It really ruins the experience, please fix this asap

Im also crashing every time I Play with other people. This is pretty poopy since I just bought the game today.

Same issue here, only difference is it only freezes and crashes when i play with a friend who plays on pc..
When i play with all other friends or alone i have no issues.
But to play together with my friend on pc is unplayable, so frustrating...
They need to fix it asap because a whole lot of player will leave the game aside

Happens to me too, seems to be happening more when playing with friends (all of us on ps5).
Yesterday I disconnected like 4 times in the same session causing us to sink each time.
This is very frustrating.

@scastie it’s been 1 hour I’m playing and I crashed like 8 times, every time it takes 5 minutes or even more to reconnect to the game, just for it to crash again five minute later…. 40€ for this experience are way too much … please fix it because it’s unplayable (PS5)

I just got off for the night after my 7th reconnect and 4th storage file delete for the error code on login. I’m not there yet, but I’m slowly starting to think they owe ps5 people some compensation

It’s basically unplayable on PS5. I’m having the same exact issue. I can’t play with any friends, cross platform or otherwise. Megladon’s aren’t working, Skelton ships won’t sink, no krakens, sunken siren treasure puzzles are super broken. Thought maybe it was a me issue, but seeing everyone complain just confirms it’s not just me haha!

Same here. I have played 2 times without it crashing, but the other 2 times it freezes and then a final freeze where it eventually crashes. Please fix

My friend is having the same issue, whenever he joins the game he crashes before we even set sail, then repeatedly after he joins back. I'm also on ps5 but I don't have the same issue.

Game keeps freezing for me as well. Hadn’t had any problems until the other day when I kept getting the kiwi bird error and had to re link my account several times.

Im having the same issue as everyone else. It crashes when im playing with or without friends. Im so close to getting a refund because the game is just unplayable. Im on PS5

I’ve been having the same problem for last week on PS5, and it still persists even today 5/11/24.

Start game crash. Join server crash. Join again, crash immediately after joining. Start game, no crash. Join previous session, longbeard.

Rinse and repeat.

Yep this has happened to me at least 5 times in the last ten mins

Also experiencing crashes constantly. They either need to partial or full refund if not fixed as soon as possible

Have been trying to play with friends for the last hour, we connect to a server, my game crashes and rinse and repeat. Why release this game on ps5 if it is unplayable?

Yep, mine has broken 12 different times today. Just disconnected. I had the siren song skull :(

It seems more of a PS5 problem. One of my friends is Xbox and they haven’t been crashing or freezing, but all of this started since the last update.

@slips239 yeah my game would run then it would crash completely for no reason it never happened on the closed beta for me but it is now

I just bought this game today for $60 and I can only play for 5 minutes before it crashes and sometimes kicks me off the server or completely freezes indefinitely. It really ruins the experience and makes me feel like I got ripped off $60 for a game that doesn’t work :(

They keep updating, but not fixing a damn thing,
I found out this problem is active since 2018 and still not fixed, such a shame they don't care.. only add new stuff but they don't fix the broken game,
Eventually i will just give up and hope they compensate our money because this is just unplayable and not fun...

So please rare fix the damn game !

Same is happening to me. I will post my experience below.

I can literally play this game for a few hours and my game will act normal. And then out of a sudden my whole game starts getting laggspikes causing a near crash. First time it doesnt, second time it doesnt. Sometimes it does freeze. After my game freezes I restart my whole game and as I reconnect it's giving me a longbeard network error. Sometimes twice or thrice. And it keeps going like this every ************* time! Please fix this....

I just crashed 6 times in 10 minutes I can’t even play the game at this point and it’s getting really annoying. Please fix this asap. It’s been 10 days
