Hi,
I would be nice to have those kind of treasure maps in voyages.
What do you think?
I could make us explore a bit more the different islands.
@nic727 hell yes!
They had new maps and stuff in Tall Tales, but to have something like what you describe in the game across the board, gets a big thumbs up from me!
Complicated Stuff According To Me. First of all people like new pirates don't have so much idea about the islands still finding an island with the same resemblance on your ship can help them discover the island but finding treasures by this map is certainly not a simple task. Also still even you identify the island through the map and taking the example of marauders arch you won't be able to see the 360 degree (that you get from the top view like in the current maps) and therefore only a certain part of the island would be visible
@nic727 it's nice but I don't want it I have trouble finding that Athena's chest now that'll make it way harder
@nic727 regardless of what game it's from(haha, ridiculous commentary on this thread). I think this is a great idea!
Perhaps this map style should start around a certain level(25) so newbies don't get too confused? Anyone past that level should have a good sense regarding the SOT map by that point?
@nic727
Great idea! As others have said, it would be hard for noobs. Maybe it should be a higher level type of map(30ish). Maybe parkour, traps, or puzzle vaults could also be involved with these and they could give 5 random chests.
