Voicemeeter & background sound, VOIP

    I use Voicemeeter Banana and recently I put the voicemeeter input as a default communication device in the Windows 10 sound board settings.
    Now I can hear crew voice chat in-game, but the game no longer mutes all sound when I alt-tab out of it.
    Before this, the default communication device for sound was just my headphones, and the game auto-muted when I alt-tab, but I couldn't hear crew voice chat.
    I was wondering if there's an option to have Voicemeeter as the default communication device, but still have the game muted when it loses focus?

    I don't think there is a way to do that. The problem is that voicemeter is always on. (i.e. I think windows auto muted the game, not the game itself.)

    A solution I can think of is to make a Voicemeeter Macro Button that you can assign a hot key to mute everything for you.

    @chenzo01 Thanks, I might just look into macro buttons, I've not tried them yet, but this might be a good solution for me, not just for this game.
