I've noticed, starting around the beginning of season 11, a major slow down on the updates to the seasonal assets the Creator Crew gets access to. Season 13 now has had no update (still listed as Season 12 Everyone Drops). Was curious if the Creator Crew is just an aspect of the community that is being phased out, or what else is goin on with that?
Creator Crew Seasonal Assets Not Available?
I got the chance to catch j0 at SoTFest with somewhat of a similar question around the seeming stall to the Creator Crew.
What I got from the chat was that they do want to do more with the Creator Crew, however it diverts time/resources away from other teams/projects/fixes etc so unfortunately ends up taking a backseat.There is the 'Stream Team' that popped up for GameBlast 24 that I think may fall under the same banner/team at Rare and was something that sounded like they wanted to use as a way to rotate through community streamers (not sure whether it was an add to/replace of those that were already in there), as a way to help those that want to push towards SoT partner or as a SoT streamer in general.
Definitely would like to see more from the CC as it's a nice little step in to the creator side of things within the SoT community, but definitely feels like it has a lot more potential to provide more to those that want to get involved than is available with the currently available focus.
