Not me. The sailor jacket is basically brown leather - turning that into gold threads would be very unappealing, IMO. Also, the pistol is essentially made of wood and would look rather odd if said wood was replaced by gold.

Coat is personal preference, but i was thinking the pistol would be like the Golden Sailor blunderbuss. So a gold barrel, a blackish hammer and trigger, complete with wooded handle/stock.

Yup! Along with a Golden Sailor speaking trumpet and pocket watch. You get those 2 by linking your discord and twitter account to SoT. You get the bunderbuss by linking both as a bonus reward.

But I have done all of that and never got anything... 😔

UPDATE: Turns out I only followed them and/or subscribed to them on those services. I had to look up how to do it, but I got'em now. Gotta say, they're quite ugly, but thanks for teaching me something new... 😅

I'm frankly quite surprised that I had never heard of these. Makes me wonder what else I might have missed. 🤔

@galactic-geek the sodden parts aren’t made gold. It’s the metallic ones. Like the Blunderbuss, the flintlock could have a golden barrel with the trigger and flintlock mechanism in black. It’s what they seem to have done for the whole set except the hat which was an entirely new model.

So I have noticed. Still ugly, IMO.

OK BUT what about blackish leather and gold buttons??

If we had that, then nobody would ever wear anything else.

It's a popularity thing; black and gold is a popular choice in most games - black because it's widely considered cool, and gold for its status.
