Best Way To Upgrade Merchant Alliance?

    I am currently looking for a good way to get Merchant's reputation quickly, because of a recent glitch leading to empty merchant shipwreck quarters.

    Is there another good way to get Merchant's reputation, or just a better way in general?

    I like to feed two birds or even a flock with one scone whenever I am working on something.

    Working in cargo runs to level the flag and then farming orbs at skelly camps to sell to the merchant and killing megs (megs have a high chance of merchant items and a decent change of ancient bone dust)

    Always prioritize rewarding adventure with goals, always multitask and keep it casual to maintain consistency.

    Make a whole journey outta it, stuff gets leveled, numbers go up, enjoy the game.

    Throw in some shipwrecks for kegs/horns/gems/merchant items.

    Browse some beaches and see how the rng goes.

    It'll all help.

    WolfManBush’s response is comprehensive.

    If I’m in a rush I do a merchant fort to hit level 3 reputation, then a Lost Shipment to hit level 5, then sell.

    I have experienced the glitch at the end of the Lost Shipment. Though not so much of late.
