This was a very unnecessary L imo.
There is a lot to give wiggle room on and to be understanding about but imo it makes no sense to justify or excuse this event being tossed this year.
It's known all year long which allows plenty of time to prepare and work it into the schedule and work load.
It's not some big resource heavy situation. It's a statement to not do it, not a lack of resources.
There are games that play better, are balanced better, more fun, on and on. People play SoT because they get attached to it in a way that other games struggle with.
Makes no sense to toss aside as many sentimental bits and pieces of SoT that they have along the way. Sentimental happenings used to be SoT's strength in the gaming space.
