Something for those who don’t like swords

    Let me just start by saying I’ve never been a big fan of the sword mechanics in this game. But instead of talking about the things that I don’t like about it, I would just like to say that ever since the blunderbuss has been reworked, which I think was a rework, there was really nothing put in its place to counter sword users. And now it just feels like sword is the new meta. Please just put something in place that is a good counter to a sword without having to use one yourself or polish your sword mechanics.

    Firebomb, blunderbomb, Traps, vomit bucket, snake baskets, Swords, pistol, blowpipe.

    Blow dart gun is super effective with some good strategy.

    Lots of people use knives effectively.

    I mostly just use sword for lunging around in adventure these days.

    tbh a lot of people just swing the sword like you could just run around or past them before trying to reload and shoot again. the blunder buss rework just changed how to use it tbh, make distance and maintain it.

    The best counter to someone using a sword without using one yourself is, and always will be, distance.
