Tried to ask this in the subreddit, but the post got removed instantly twice, but anyways, I'm pretty new at this game and only just found out that there's a shipset to go with the unlockables in the free pass, however seems i need quite a few commendations both PvE and PvP for it. Id like to get the set for a nice looking ship but I'm rather trash at all matters related to PvP, so i have to ask, do the commendations and set stay after this current season, and either way, is there a relatively easy way to work towards it?

is that all the season 14 commendation stuff?
just try to find people in the game that will comm trade with you or help you with what you need.
None of it really needs to be pvp does it? It's all stuff people can solo, do as a crew, or can try to get people on a server to work together.
and yeah, all the commendations for that set should stick around so you can work on stuff in future seasons as well.

Most of the commendations of season 14 aren't what I would call "organic-play friendly", meaning that they are so far outside of organic play/combat or require a number that is so far outside of organic play that it pretty much forces non-organic play to complete.
Point being is that most people aren't doing those comms organically. They are either working with friends on the same server or with random people on random servers to get them done.
This is important to keep in mind because you have no obligations to pvp for the commendations. Some of them aren't even realistic for real pvp scenarios. You can make friends and do it that way. It will likely make your experience more pleasant by doing at least some of them in a friendly scenario.
Just this morning I was doing the merchant voyage for the day and I saw two ships going around in circles and not shooting at each other, the safe bet is that they were doing the hanging comms together, and likely the others as well.

Commendations are permanent.
Usually lol (we don't talk about Bruno [arena]) You'll have more than just the season.
