What if skeleton keys can be found once in a while to open up chests to increase there reward.
Skeleton keys
That puts quite the damper on forts, because those keys work universally with all forts. Considering the quantity of active forts, I see no reason to use it on anything but forts. I can just hold on to this little key til the next fort, ignore all the skeletons, pop it into the door, and now I have an instant fort cleared.
Not the stronghold keys, the skeleton keys, as in the ones the Gold Hoarders use to open chests. However, obtaining one would mean you never would have a reason to turn in a chest to the gold hoarders ever again, and could instead simply take all of the gold for yourself.
