I already contacted Rare support, but so far they couldn't help me. So maybe another one of you had this issue and was able to solve it:
When I start the game I get logged in and the intro starts to play and when I press ESC to skip it (or wait), when in german "Crewbuch wird durchsucht" or whatever this is in english is shown the whole game freezes , game sounds start lagging, I can't talk with my mates on Teamspeak or discord and I can't hear them (like package loss), the whole PC freezes and I cant even exit the game without hard resetting my PC.
So, interesting workaround is, when I press ESC in the intro and then open windows explorer quickly, so the game minimizes to the background, the menu opens as intended without any stuttering and without freezes after I ALT-TAB back into the game a few seconds later.
And the issue must be account dependent, cause when I change to a family shared account all works fine.
Has anyone had the same issue and solved it somehow?
