Rage chest is too easy to transport

So you want a normal chest, because with a bit of water it is just a normal chest, with a higher cost that can be used as a weapon...

I dont want a normal chest at all.
But i dont want an absolute chore of a chest for a measly couple hundred gold payout or whatever it is.

If i gotta babysit this thing and make my journey a chore then these things gotta pay at least 10k or they will just live on the beach and never travel to an outpost. Not on my ship at least.

As for a weapon, fire is weak anyways. Better to stick to kegs. Readily available, causes holes and fire. Wouldnt waste your time weaponizing these for pvp. PVE skellies sure, but even then. I wouldnt be worth the hunt.

They were supposed to make the water boil if you left it in a few inches. It was in that "Pirate News" video they released a couple weeks ago. I got to play with one a little yesterday, but I didn't keep a lot of water in my hull, just a bucket full from the water barrel or a small leak. I also dumped water on it every few seconds and found it evaporated the water when thrown on it.

Odd, Not matter the amount of water, it always starts to boil within maybe 5min. For me and My crew we tested this and found, it will boil the water over time.

Not true. Small amounts of ballast do eventually boil. What I found last night is that unless you are sailing through a storm/choppy seas or have a hole (where fresh water is always flooding in) there is no reliable way to keep the chest cool because it either evaporates the water or boils it.

There is a reliable way to transport it indefinitely, without boiling water, or fire spreading. I carried one around for a couple hours in my sloop and literally didn't have to lift a finger to deal with it. The only thing I had to watch for was being near it when it went off.

boil me and my crew done 2 chest of rage missions the water boils when it gets mad.

@daringclarky the chest of sorrow cries too much tbh its just annoying especially on a sloop. sure you can handle it but constant bucketing is BORING
