It's the second time this happens to my crew (first was months ago when FOTD was introduced). We just gathered all flames, we invested in 3 skulls and the storm has no lightening. Nothing at all... Please fix this already, it is really ruining the game (it is my first game in two months and this kind of game breaking bugs destroy the entire experience)...
Storm without lightening
@captain-steel-x I found standing on the lookout with my sword drawn helps draw out lightning. Make sure you have low health to ensure you die. It may just be a coincidence with a small sample size. Worth a try.

No that's not the case, there is LITERALLY NO lightening at all.
I can confirm this issue. Once our crew started session on galleon. We were just sailing around, finished some events and then realized, we have had enough skulls to complete some FoTD commendations, so we gathered all the lights, but death by lightning was just not gonna happen. We were in storm for at least 30 minutes, 4 people with swords out in crows nest, but not a single lightning. Also there were no other lightnings around in the storm, NONE, I repeat NO lightnings, so this is definitelly bug. Only happened once to me, I have not found way to replicate this bug.

- Yes it is a bug that’s present
- Yes it is annoying when you’ve invested time into a session to do FOTD
- If it hasn’t happened to you , you wouldn’t understand
Imagine driving through 3 different storm spawns and not seeing any lightning anywhere in the storm ?
The issue isn’t that lighting isn’t spawning enough , the issue is that it isn’t spawning at all
