Can't enter or leave Heart of Fire cave, please fix it somehow

    Hello! Me and my son have tried twice now to play Heart of Fire, both times we've made it inside and then his game has crashed. He has crashes fairly frequently, the problem here is that when he rejoins he starts on our ship and can't enter the cave on Devil's Thirst and I can't leave.

    It's starting to feel almost pointless to try to finish it together, which is really sad. Please make it so you can rejoin somehow, it's really stupid to have to redo the whole thing from the start. I even have to rejoin because I can't get out. If I kill myself I spawn in the cave again.

    There are mermaid statues scattered throughout the Tall Tale that act as checkpoints. This is why when you die, you respawn in the cave. If your son crashed, he can simply go to the mermaid statue located outside the opening, on the right side. This will let him rejoin you on your adventure. Alternatively, if you need to get back to your ship, simply interact with a mermaid statue in the Tall Tale. Hope this helps!

    Are you and your son's graphics drivers up-to-date?

    @sweltering-nick Yeah, we've been updating everything we can for him, still crashes unfortunately. Sometimes it says his drivers are not up to date, sometimes it doesn't say anything.
