So I myself really like the sea fairing aspect of Sea of Thieves, and have come to find that the Sea itself really poses no dangers to ships and their crew. Unlike real life, death at sea was a real possibility due to capsizing, storms etc. I propose that Rogue Waves, massive waves that exist in real life that are really rare and don't last long but are known to be ship killers should be added. To save your ship from a rogue wave, your best bet is to sail directly into it (though with real wooden ships irl a galleon would stand no chance). If you don't do this I propose that this "Rogue Wave" should heavily damage your ship and knock over all the masts. If you do go directly into the rogue wave, your ship should be relatively fine with maybe 1 to 2 holes in the bow. These waves should be about as rare as a Kraken and should appear at random, but should be more common in storms. There should also be commendations to surviving a rogue wave, and maybe even Doubloon rewards. The size of a rogue wave is comparable and actually on average larger then a Tsunami sometimes and in-game should be about as tall as a sloop up to its crows nest.
