Athenas not giving athena items

As much as i understand your frustrations here if they made all the items Athena items it would detract from the Thief's Haven runs as well as the Emissary Grade 5 runs.
If you could get all the Athena items from just the Athena Voyage there would be little to no reason for running the other voyages.

the TH runs A. cost 50D what if i don't have the cash to do like 5. B. you should not have to do a defrent quest to get the more of the item then from the main one C. it toke us 6 PL RUNS to get grade 5 do you see the problem now all they would is revert it back to what it was

@demonhunter1176 in 6 athena did you not do any of the emergent threats? defeating them gives easy emissary rep.

All the Thieves Haven runs are focused on those items. And if you need doubloons go earn them, they are pretty easy to get.

@captain-coel yes i know but i shouldn't have to do TH runs to get the item that should spawn in the main one aalso we did we always kill ever mag we get and we did 2 winds so you tell me what i'm doing worng?

@demonhunter1176 The items are only supposed to show up occasionally in the regular athena quests and to be more common in the thieves haven runs. Remember, an athena quest gives an athena chest.

Athena emissary isnt meant to be easy.

@demonhunter1176 Nope i fail to see the issue still.
A. 50D is not at all hard to achieve in any way shape or form with all the commendations and additional ways to obtain it in the world.
B. The Athena Voyage is and was always for obtaining Athena Chests, the newer Athena Items were added initially for TH Runs exclusively, they are now offered as RARE finds during an Athena Voyage as a small bonus only and or GUARANTEED items from an Emissary Voyage for that exact reason.
C. Grading up any Emissary flag is not meant to be a trivial persuit nor easily achievable hence why the rewards from the received voyage far surpass any other on offer.

Imagine at some point the only Athena item in the game was the chest at the end of the voyage. It was the only way to get reputation.

Complaints like these make me shrug...

and to you all thinking i'm saying make it easy no i'm not but the thing is i don't want to do TH runs and get 50 gems that don't help me any more all i want is for the items to show up more in PL runs then they are now

i love this game i have put more time in to it then any game (all the halos D2 doom rage rainbow 6 ect) but i think this should be changed cuz it's BS that i keep getting seafarers and disgraced on PL runs to me a way to fix this should be make it so ever thing you get gives you emissary rep not a lot if it's not an Athena item but enough that you can get grade 5 without spending 5 hours

Aka make it easier? As that is the definition of upping the drop rates? Make it easier to get?

i was doing the math last night and the items From Th runs would be 50 x 50 at the min ( this is with only getting 1 of each item and not loosing any) that would be 2500d thats a lot and you say theres nothing worng with this?

nope doubloons are easy to get.

There is nothing wrong with it, so nothing to improve. The grind is the grind, you can do it you can also choose not to. That is the beauty of the game.

Agreed, normal athenas runs are pointless when thieves haven runs get you to level 4/5.
