One thing I hate about both Stores and Seaposts in the game is how irrelevant they become after you buy their cosmetics. Seaposts especially only offer a 10% discount on their items making them almost completely pointless.
With the olde mechanic of items being region locked no longer being present, it means they need some love. Desperately.
So here's a simple idea to make them just a bit more relevant:
The Black Market Archive is a strange concept. The sale has ended but we got a warehouse still full? Wouldn't it make more sense for the Bilge Rats to sell their outdated stock to the various store owners?
Stores would now stock old Black Market Archive items, but at a premium (much like the price of the Scurvy Bilge Rat set). After each Black Market sale, they would be stocked in the various stores for people to buy.
Seaposts are trickier. Let's start with bumping up that 10% discount to 50% for starters. Then, have them also stock items from the Black Market Archive.
Now for a potentially controversial part: Have a select list of previous time limited cosmetics that CAN appear in the seaposts. Make the chance about... 1 Shrouded Ghosts worth, maybe 2. And make the list limited to items that didn't require a lot of effort or special conditions.
Or if Rare is so inclined, include a limited list of emporium items such as the free giveaway items.
I know some suggestions here will irk those who worked to get these time limited cosmetics, but let's be honest... how many Shrouded Ghosts have you seen? And would you really care if people had a 24 minute opportunity to buy your Time Limited Boots?
Suggest anything else to make these places worth visiting again.
