Arena - communicate with other crews via voice or text chat not possible - no fun anymore

    Hello,
    since the new update it is not possible to communicate with other crews via voice or text chat in arena. For me it is therefore no fun anymore as I cannot say anything to other crews and also not meet new people there. In my opinion meeting new people there was the biggest advantage in playing arena and so much fun. I could afterwards also go on adventure with them sometimes.
    Also in arena it is important to talk to other crews to explain certain things.

    I hope you change it again so everyone can choose if they want to mute other crews or not. Like that I don't want to play arena anymore. The game lost its fun. Please change it again.

    I agree, the Arena Lobby itself used to be so much fun. In my experience, encountering the racists and bigots only happened like 1% of the time.

    I can't understand why Rare would remove the feature completely instead of just turning it off by default and allowing people to opt in.

    I've never understood the need to take away a tool when the alternative of mute exists. To be clear, I hate Arena, I don't play it. However, the principle remains. Why not just create a more robust targeted muting system? Something like a targeted mute button that displays itself on death? A little button appears while your soul ascends from your body, it directly targets the last person to kill you.

    This is just one route to go, but I can't think of a single game that has done such a drastic change such as this. Quite frankly, its the laziest approach, besides inaction, that they could have done.

    People need to stop being prideful and just mute, there is no shame in doing so.

    Its getting worse by the minute, too much SJW bs going on with Rare.
    I have so many examples and the recent one is the removal of the built in emote for the asian costume, enough with this!

    Enough with the mindless sensitivity to subject that are ok the way they are, charity sails were actually helpful and positive, giving copies of SOT to NHS medical staff who does gods work IS actually positive.
    Being petty and stupid like trying to be "above and beyond" and post a BLM thread and then lock it because not everyone were on board with all the bad things that happened there.
    Now arena being silenced because there are few players who had bad experience and being that lazy that they cant even mute players.

    Yes, I don't understand it at all. Like you said there was an option. You could choose between muting other crews or listening if you wanted to. So why change it and mute everyone?
    They could also make a report button in the game, so it is easier to report people who insult.
    But they muted at the expense of others who didn't do anything and had fun.

    You took away the most important character of an online game. Being in contact with others. Like that I won't play arena anymore.
