Update to the Leveling System.

  • Hello everyone!
    Leveling up the factions is a huge part of the game, one of the main goals of the game is to become max. level in each faction! But once you reach level 75 (or 20/50 for some factions) you are done!

    This is why I have came up with a new addition, in which you will never have the feeling that you have completely done everything and there is no goal for you left.

    I would like to see the main factions of the game's max. level raised to 100 and Athena to 25. Once you reach that level, you can get some kind of "prestige", so you can start leveling all over again from 1-100 while unlocking a permanent bonus once you unlock a prestige. For example: a +0.1x gold multiplier for that faction when delivering your loot, and maybe some cool cosmetics and voyages.

    This way, you will always have a goal to aim for! Since I have reached max. level in almost every faction for quite some time, I would love to see this added to the seas!

    And then you hit max prestige and hit the same barrier. At some point the numbers stop going up if you play enough, that is just the case as in many games. Simply having the numbers go up for the sake of numbers going up isn't a good design. You now have the season the level up every time from 0-100.

    I agree, look at every old mmo and how number bloat becomes a major problem eventually. Always raising the level cap creates a huge end number for new players to look at that often turns them away.

    I'd rather see them make seasons have a small reward for every level after reaching 100, and just add more factions over time.

    Plus like many say, the leveling isn't that important, just play the game. There are time limited events happening monthly/weekly to focus on instead IMO.
