@aerotsune Hello, since you are here and we’re in the topic of cosmetics in this thread, would you be so kind to let me know when we might see the Silent Barnacle set get it’s own figurehead? It was acknowledged as missing nearly a year ago and there been no word ever since.

Eh personally I'll stand beside leaving anything from the first year time limited, even though I did miss out on a majority of it

Though season pass items, Twitch Drops and other similar items have a potential of returning with the right criteria chosen and used, the year one items will not. So with that in mind, you are welcome to discuss those items mentioned that may possibly return and how you would like to see them reintroduced. :)

(Would also love if the quests from the Festival of Fishing had stayed as a permanent addition. They offered a great structured format for fishing that also helped players who were unfamiliar with Hunter's Call learn how to find what fish where.)

@Nitroxien I actually created a complete list of all the time limited cosmetics that required in game participation of some sort and didn't involve The Emporium, Twitch, Amazon, etc.

I'll try to figure out a way to post it on here for everyone to reference. It's pretty neat... although kind of eye opening as you point out. There's very little worth mentioning in 2020...then you get to Seasons in 2021 and they've pretty much said all the good stuff from Seasons are not exclusive and will come back eventually.

So, if you didn't play in 2018/2019, tough cookies.

@sweetsandman yeah I made a post a while back comparing the two but just made some highlights would love to see a completed list though. The OG time-limited items definitely feel far more impactful and meaningful compared to the new ones.

As I said Rare cares for the OG players and if you did not play then tough luck for you we don't deserve the same quality time-limited cosmetics

@sweetsandman I would enjoy seeing that info as well. if anything just as a visual treat and memory of the last few years.

@muarembossi to my knowledge there has never been any mention of recolored facepaints. I wouldn’t expect to see them.

Come to think of it, it’s been awhile since the store has had any new facepaints.

I assume he's talking about Frozen horizon clothing and Rising morningstar sets (Which is not the same one as Morningstar set you unlock through Tall tales) as both of them were twitch drops about a year ago and haven't returned since.

@muarembossi unfair? Not really. If you weren’t there to get it, it’s not part of your Pirate’s story. I understand you want it, but constantly bugging everyone and Rare about it won’t make it come back.

Also there are no president for recolored facepaints. Which makes a recolor even more unlikely to come back.

As a day 1 player who missed out on all the year 1 cosmetics due to my friends quitting and me following them. I feel the same, but fully understand why.
