Graphics settings for Xbox series s|x

  • Why is there no option to set your graphics on new Gen consoles? Why are we console players so limited with these things? If we could lower the water graphics the game would run much smoother and to be honest, other players would be better to see in the water.

I can absolutely not understand why new gen consoles don't have the same settings with PCs

Consoles = very specific hardware and therefore very little differences outside of updated firmware once in awhile on newer versions of a model.

PC = vast differences in computer to computer. One player might have a GTX 770 card running on a 5th generation i5 CPU, the next might have a RTX 3090ti with an AMD Threadripper 64 core CPU.

Graphics are about tuning the experience to the machine, getting the best graphical experience inside the hardware limitations without artifacts or frame stutter. Gamers make it about optimizing settings for PvP and 200+FPS.

Runs butter smooth on Series X as it is and it's a bit sweaty to turn sea detail down just to help try and spot players lol.. Just bask in the glory of next gen!

  • If you're all about meta-gaming, buy a high-end gaming PC. That's as true now as it always has been.

  • The Series X does still have pretty good graphics, though, right? Asking as my Xbox One has pretty wretched graphic aroun 50% of the time and I'm considering upgrading to an X
