Map table functionality.

  • Allowing pirates to place a treasure map on the map table would help new players (and me sometimes 😅) to more easily locate their desired destination.

Additionally adding more map markers: friendly/enemy ship markers, skulls, chests, a point to point maker (for lost shipments), ect
    would add a little flare.

But that is what the hunt is all about.
Check your hand held map, memorize, and look for it.

  • The only added functionality I would want on the table is the ability to put our own markers on the map. Give us a Legend with various shapes to stamp our own system of mapping down. Maybe the ability to draw a straight line from one point to another, a way to plot a course if you would. This gives players who aren't interested to simply not partake, there is no requirement to use them. A very basic quality of life seems very reasonable here.

  • @nabberwar that's exactly what I meant about the "map markers" in the second part of my post sorry if you misunderstood.

  • I can see the argument for this, especially for newer players. However, I also think way it currently, intentionally or not, forces you to remember the shape of islands leads to players more quickly being able to know where they are and what direction to go without using the map at all.

If we are adding map functionality let me bring the handheld one right up to my face some of those x's on big islands can be a pain to see landmarks on lolololol
