Fish crate

    I don’t know if this or something similar has been requested before, so sorry if yes...

    How about a fish-crate, which you can sell to the Hunter's Call? If empty, you can't sell it...there has to be at least one fish in it. Selling it through the crate gives you extra 20% of gold and rep.
    You can find those crates washed ashore, or you can find messages in a bottle which let you claim such a crate from the Hunter's Call. Those voyages' requirements, to finish it, are at least 10 fish in the crate and at a certain seapost to deliver, for this you get extra 50% of gold and rep.

    What would change if this got added?
    People would fill that crate with fish, they will keep it for longer to fill it with more fish, due to the more gold and rep. This would lead to more sold (and stolen) fish, because it won't sink with the ships supplies.

    What do you think of this?

    @schwammlgott Just new fishing quests would be a good start :D maybe new treacherous plunder to fish up, and lastly new fish types, including legendary fish which take much longer to reel in than even a trophy fish!

    I actually don’t want "regular fishing voyages"...like the ones we had in an event...so useless and boring, hope this will never be a thing again
    Messages in a bottle with a crate, like I said, would be a good thing imo

    I'd prefer some "Hunting the Deep" quests where we can "summon" and fight groups of Shark, Sirens, Megalodons and Krakens.

    @lizalaroo I would LOVE new fishing quests! Still working on my original treacherous plunder count, although it's surprising how much of it pops up when you're trying to catch that last raven islehopper.

    I still want to do HC stuff, while I do other things...and a HC voyage forces me to do that voyage...but I want to do a goldhoarder voyage (example) and fish while doing that...that's what HC is about...beeing able to do that whenever and whereever I want while doing certain voyages

    @schwammlgott Having HC quests wouldn't impact your ability to fish whenever you wanted in any way what so ever. I never implied taking the fishing away. Just add quests so we have that option.

    Fish have a wide range of values though - how would you consolidate all of that into a single crate?

    Personally, I would be satisfied with simply having a wider variety of barrel types on board our ships.

    But if there are commendations, or new things, that are just obtainable through that voyages I can't do it my way anymore
    Anyway this thread isn't about HV voyages...it's about a fishcrate, that we can find washed ashore or through messages in a bottle, not as an extra voyage...that's not what I made it for
