Infinite Pirate Generator Tweak

@galactic-geek race is varied enough. I feel like 8 per roll you get a got mix of race even right now. Too many filters and we might as well not have the igp at all. I feel like sex is the only necessary filter to be honest, because the majority of players can agree that going into the game they knew what race they were going to pick, having both is just a waste of time. If a person is looking for Mr muscle he's not gonna stop on granny twig arms and be like "actuallyyyyy" I've spent a lot of time in the pirate generator and race feels like it could stay where it is there enough variety per roll

@galactic-geek yea but this isnt always the case and i feel very rarely it is. personally i cant see myself choosing a differnt gendered pirate. i knew what i wanted, as well did the majority of the people ive played with. if this is true what your saying its definitely the first ive heard of someone who changed thier mind what gender they wanted. nonethe less there should be a way to limit it toi male or female, or make it random for those who still want the randomness.

@metal-ravage but it is the very first thing a new player sees. to be honest compared to the bright vibrant world of the game, this darkly lite empty room that run a system that to some feel very un refined and unfinished can not be a good first step.

@q-islaughter-p i feel the opposite. i feel like adding atleast one filter, especially a gender filter, would be an improvment while still keeping to the RNG that is IPG. i feel like adding a smart favoriting system would be A, alot more difficult, and B, it be very easy to get very similiar looking characters. not that the current IGP doesnt pop out quintuplets all the time but still.

@yeahlevelup your new here so imma let you in on a lil secret. the devs are set in their ways about alot of things and the IGP is one of them. they wanted to have this standout feature, so they took the randomize button in other games character selectors that few people ever use and made that the permanent feature. unfortunatley, suggesting it be dropped has been suggested before, but the topics get blocked because the devs have "addressed it". the next best thing is to just improve what cant be changed and what we have.

@q-islaughter-p @Galactic-Geek idk if i can get in trouble for SUGGESTING something be put in insider, but i feel like that be a great way to test the boundaries of this type of topic. they should week by week change how the pirate generator works and see what the program members say about it, maybe one week do full customization, another week do smart favoriting, other weeks do differnt types of features. or maybe even put a poll on twitter about it. they have these platforms to test their community and they should use it.
