Milestones are multiplying numbers and hiding, or ignoring others.

  • Some of you may or may not have noticed that some of the milestone trackers for players and ships are incorrectly counting things, sometimes multiplying, other times, adding hidden stats to totals. I have have killed Captain Grimm twice aboard my new Galleon. On my pirate, it says 2 kills under the Skeleton Lords defeated.
But on my Galleon, it says 7 kills- 4 for the 4-man crew the first time, and 3 for the 3-man crew the second.

Likewise, my galleon has 4 Ancient Skeleton kills, and 100 Coral Skeleton kills. We only killed one Ancient Skeleton, but since there were 4 people in the crew at the time, the Galleon says 4 kills on Ancient Skeletons. And I can definitely confirm there was not 100 coral skeletons in the one shrine we did. Seems like enemy AI kills are being counted for every crewmate onto the ship’s total. Not good.

Now onto the Pirate Milestones. My Discovered Quests completed shows 19 discovered quests completed total
The contributing stats show 6 bottle quests, 0 shrine quests, and 9 skeleton captain’s orders. That doesn’t add up.

Also, my total voyage quests completed for all factions does not add up to the number shown either. Seems like extra stats are being added into the total, but those stats aren’t being shown. And my shrine quest completed was downright ignored.

Bothering me a ton. I think my stats should be tracked correctly or not at all. I’m not even fussed about the milestone unlocks anymore, I just want the number to be correct. Submitted a support ticket, just shedding light and fostering discussion. I suggest others report the issue aswell.

    Thoughts?

I thought I was getting credit for canceled veil voyages.

Someone pointed out each stage counts as a completion.

Hey, encouragement to play Galleon 😆

I'm not against cheesing things either. Guess tools not rules applies to counting things too....

  • @pithyrumble when I see my stats in a few years, I want them to be correct and accurate. Cheese or no cheese, I just want to know my stats are right.

  • @klutchxking518

If you played before season 7 your Captain stats will never be accurate.

  • @pithyrumble Those previous stats aren’t Captain stats. Those were pre-captaincy

  • @klutchxking518 said in Stat Trackers are incorrectly tracking in some cases, and adding hidden stats to totals in others.:

@pithyrumble Those previous stats aren’t Captain stats. Those were pre-captaincy

    I stand by my statement.

  • @pithyrumble I just want the stats to be accurate! I want to show others my ship’s progress and not have to explain “Well actually that part’s incorrect” when it comes to these things.

  • @klutchxking518 Report these issues to support :)

  • @eggamer13 As per the original post, I did. And I was told to “Please wait up to 72 hours for rewards to appear ingame” which… isn’t entirely helpful considering it is unrelated to my problem. I told them that, and the response was “We are unable to address this issue at this time, but rest assured your feedback will be noted for later”

Again, I’m just here to discuss and see if I’m the only one being bothered by this. I’m hoping to get the issue noticed and talked about, I’m reluctant to play and further my stats if they aren’t even tracking right.

  • I was wondering if that was the case.

Still wondering whether or not your ship gets credit for things that happen onboard that aren't from the crew.
For example if I do a sneaky and dock a rowboat on an enemy ship, will they get a popup saying they just advanced in rowboats docked?
I know for certain that you don't have to be on your ship to get milestones like "grogs poured" that count for the ship.

  • @scheneighnay Yes, any ship milestones count per being in that ship’s session, not just on board. I progressed my galleon’s Ill-Fated Buckets Bailed by helping a slooper fight a kraken while my ship was across the map. The problem being that actions like defeating things are counting each crew’s involvement as an entirely different enemy, so it counts 4 players killing an ashen lord as 4 ashen lords defeated, not 1 ashen lord killed by 4 players.

One of my crewmates was with me in that kraken water and my ship got 2 kraken kills for that one encounter.

  • @klutchxking518
I mean if I do k my rowboat on another ship, will that ship get credited too?

  • @scheneighnay I believe Ship Milestones are more like “(Current) Crew of that Ship” Milestones where the progress is tracked not by what ship, but the actions of the crew. So only the crew doing the action is credited
