I was sailing around yesterday hoping I could get a Megalodon to spawn when a thought occurred to me. Maybe Rare could add a Megalodon quest into the game?
We could buy the quests from the Hunter's Call representatives at any of the Seaposts and we could be given a vague letter letting us know that, "A Megalodon has been terrorizing the region between Thieves' Haven and Devil's Ridge!" (this is just an example) We would need to sail along that stretch of sea to spawn the megalodon. As far as which megalodon, I figured it would be the same percentages as any other random encounter. A similar quest, I think, could work for the Kraken as well.
As weird as it may sound, whether it be for commendations/milestones or just for fun, sometimes I feel like fighting a megalodon or a kraken. This would give us an option to manually initiate a megalodon or kraken encounter (similar to the Order of Souls Ghost Ship quest).
