Unable to buy Trinket for owning a sloop

I have the same issue with my Brigantine.
Tried dismantling it to see if buying a new one would fix it but now I'm stuck at "please try again" at the ship purchase screen.

I have the exact same issue. I own a Sloop but neither the captain milestone nor the trinket is unlocked. Been logging in for a week but no change.

Same problem for me. I have bought one of each ship, was able to buy the ship model trinket for all of them aside from the sloop which I bought first soon after captaincy came out.

You have to sail your ships at least once to get the trinkets.

That was the first thing I did. They closed the ticket soon after as, "solved" even though the support person admitted that the issue is not solved but it's just a "standard thing they do". They reassured me the team is aware and going to keep working on a solution.

That was 11 days ago.

I have the same issue; I have a legendary sloop now and still no trinket for it and it says grade 1.

Any update from Rare on this?

@vakrisone I raised a few tickets with screenshots, but the only response was wait 72 hours, I think I'm far over 72 days now and still no luck lol

I got trinkets for my gally and brig just not the sloop one even though it shows grade 1 on it.

@logan-36000 I've had a captained sloop since the 3rd day after Captaincy launched and still don't have the trinket. Support ticket basically just resulted in them doing the ol' hit-reg "we will work on a fix for this someday".

I suspect something in the code completely wiped the Sloop(s) purchased check function at one point or another and the devs can't find a way to make that function work retroactively.

Has anyone tried buying a second Sloop to see if that will unlock the trinket?

Dang, that's a major problem then. Judging by this thread it seems only the Sloop is affected.

Fixed for anyone yet? Still is not for me and is not even acknowledged in the bugs section of the updates.

@logan-36000 its actually fixed for me now.
