new pvp mode gives too little reputation

  • sorry for bad english i eat spaghetti. i did a couple of pvp in this new mode they put in the game (20-30 try) and i'm seeing (it's a personal point of view) that a victory doesn't give a lot of reputation for the new faction "servants of the flame". yes there is the streak that gives more but for a mediocre player seems a bit difficult to achieve. i see this as a forced grind thing they putted in the game more than the athena even because... level 100? that's a lot. idk if a staff will see this post but if it happens... idk think about it

  • maybe the idea of adding some objectives in there for bonuses

fight deeds or something where bonuses can be achieved

combat related stuff that incentivizes engagement and allows even those that are struggling to fight an opportunity to get something done.

We need people to wanna do this so there are varied matches.

People are already running into each other multiple times a day, we need lots of people to want to participate.

  • Like milestones. This suppose to be a long term battle. Grind.

Nobody is meant to reach 100 in next two months.

I agree. There needs to be more incentives to grind out these factions. Most of the good stuff doesn't even start until level 100. It would be nice to see a few cosmetics get sprinkled in along the way to level 100. Another solution would be to make it one level per sink. That's still a ton of play time to keep people busy.

Yesterday, I ran into the same crew back to back. This morning we started seeing longer queue times to get into matches. This kind of stuff concerns me. I'm worried that the interest for this mode is going to die off in a few weeks and it'll be in the same situation as arena. All of the people checking it out will go back to doing PvE and it'll just be sweats in the queue or people trying to cheese it with server alliances.

  • Commendations are supposed to give reputation as well. Its been a long time since I have needed levels with other trade companies so I don't fully remember but you get the commendation first then you see the reputation bar move after. I think even arena did it this way with commendations awarding reputation. These commendations seem to give nothing. Either that is an error on Rares part or they really intend for winning fights to be the way to progress in this system as I am getting like 10x the rep for a win than for a loss now.

Reaching LV 1000 I understand but the low levels? It should be easy to reach level 100 and then get harder after that!

My concern is that it’s hard to get to level 100 now. When does the uphill battle level out?

  • Level 1000 is literal insanity. Who pulled those numbers out

yeah that's what my countering to the hype posts were about before season 8 started, this was always gonna be how it was gonna go imo

the good part is that it was implemented with a lot less issues than usual
it's still fun and being well received in design

it'll be a positive option going forward no matter the activity but it's definitely gonna need supportive options for inexperienced fighters outside of sbmm

It's still gonna help in keeping competition going and the more skilled fighters busy.

pvpers are making gold without having to sell much and they don't have to deal with as much no action vs taking out inexperienced players, so that part has longevity

it'll be good for the game it just won't be as popular overall as people were hyping/hoping it to be.
