So devs have teased a video of future Fort of Golden Sands, the first Pirate Fort, and this actually should be the start of the New Age of Piracy, and with the new age there should be something new, that can change everything again, not just the flat Outpost with stone pavement instead sand and planks.
So I came up with an idea of new ship - Frigate.
A ship for crews of 3-4 people, mostly made for speed and mobility.
Stats:
- Has 1 Main Deck and 1 Lower Deck.
- 6 cannons, with 3 cannons on each side.
- A Wheel that does 2 rotations
- 3 Sets of Sails, with 1 Main in front and 2 smaller in the middle and back.
- Has a higher manevruability than Galleon, but less than Brigantine.
- Has higher tailwind speed than Brig, but less than Galleon.
There may be some special differences, like an actual Gun Deck with semi-closed view, so you can't turn your cannons much freely.
Or maybe this ship can be the first one to be able to dock 2 rowboats at once.
