As for my character im going for a rough and rugged merciless thug of a pirate.

My character is similar to the Highwayman song except instead of stories of different people my pirate has different chapters of his life creating 1 ongoing story line.
Warrior, Sailor, Hunter, Wanderer/Drifter
currently existing in the later chapters of his life he only fights when necessary and generally searches for purpose beyond combat and conflict.
The scars and tattoos represent the journey
Glitter beard represents the ones that have been lost
The flower band represents hope for a future
Witch markings represent a refusal to conform in violation of conscience.
The gold curse represents greed and selfishness, a reminder that excess consumes substance
Wanderer's hip skirt represents staying connected to the beginning, attached to roots. Simple skirt for a simple man.
I won’t go too far into her backstory but… My pirate came from a high born family. Had she stayed, she would have been a Lady or, if she was lucky, married into one of the royal families. But that was her parents’ dream, not hers.
She had always longed for a life of adventure. She ran away and got tangled up with some pirates and eventually embraced the lifestyle. She still holds onto a lot of her high born traditions, but she’s as rugged as they come even when wearing a dress.
She’s a Curse Breaker and a dreamer, she wears the constellation tattoo set to remind herself to follow the stars no matter where they lead you.
(Also she changes her clothes every day, this is just her “default” outfit for when she can’t decide what to wear. The only thing I’ve never changed was the Curse Breaker title. Been using it since unlocking and it means a lot to our storyline so I likely won’t ever change it.)
