Part 1: Pirates of Carribean Tall Tales 2

  • Ahoy everyone.
    So I have decided to divide this topic into different parts. Each part will be an idea for a Pirates of Carribean Tall Tales 2.
    This idea is to create an edge of the map, "The World's End". Where you need to travel to go beyond the Sea of Thieves to enter the Davy Jones Locker or A Captain's Locker, where the Tall Tale will take a place.
    To vote for new Tall Tales you will need to go to Outcast, whom you can find on each outpost. Behind her will be a boat with Tall Tales in it.
    As with each Tall Tale you will be given prologue and the journal with introduction in it. After that you will need to travel to the Edge of Sea of Thieves to enter the Locker.
    It would be perfect to create such Edge after adding or with addition of new region:"Ice Wastes"(Arctic Wastelands).
    Because, if you remember, in the film "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" they traveled through Ice Wastes to reach the Edge of the World. Therefore it would be nice to follow their example and do the same.
    It shouldn't be a big region like The Shores of Plenty or The Ancient Isles or The Wilds. It can be the same size as The Devil Roar or even smaller, like The No Man's Sea, also known as Red Sea/The Devil's Shroud/The Shores of Gold.
    General idea of this region is to create an atmosphere that you are going to the uncharted sea to get lost (Because, if you remember, to find the World's End they needed to be completely lost).
    After doing so, you will have a cutscene where your ship falls into unknown.
    After cutscene you will be transported to the Locker. There you will find yourself surrounded by sand with no sign of your ship. As you walk around you will find different clues, which will lead you through this tall tale, for example, an old dusty shipwreck, barrel, pieces of architecture, lost cargo, etc.
    The Tall tale will lead you through big ship graveyard with puzzles to solves, journals to find and skeletons and phantoms to deal with.
    After going through that your next step will be a ruins of giant city/port, where also will be puzzles, journals, additional/side achievements, skeletons and phantoms, and "a key" which will lead you outside, far away from the shipwrecks and ruins.
    Third stage of Tall Tale will be a place, also a ruin, but with no walls or celling, there will be a floor and a pedestal with a "treasure" levitating above it.
    After getting close to it the music will start and sand will fly around the ruin, like in sandstorm. To complete this stage you will need to fight few waves of Skeletons and Phantoms until the Skeletons Captain's appear (Generally it will be only 4 - 6 waves long, including final wave). After defeating the skeleton captains you will need to get close to "treasure" and press button "Pick up".
    After that you will be given a cutscene, where you are trying to pick up the "treasure", but floor cracks open and you get consumed by the sand.
    After that you will reappear at the Shores of Locker with your ship anchored and completely safe. As you make your way to the ship you will be given a choice, you can go back to your ship or go right toward the plank in the sand, which will be located to your right.
    Depending on your choice:

    • if you will go back to your ship you will have a cutscene where you walk into quicksand and get consumed by it. After that you will have a black screen and reappear at the place where you started the Tall Tale, it still be active, but you won't be able to continue it or redo it, because you lost/failed, therefore you will need to restart the game, otherwise you will stay in the Locker for whole eternity.
    • if you decided to go to the plank, then you will need to get close to it and inspect it. After doing so, you will have a cutscene where your remove the sand of it and there is written word "unworthy". After that you will be consumed by the sands again.
      If you chose the right answer you will find yourself at the same place where you have started but behind you will be a giant Captain Galleon called "Unworthy". After boarding it the captain door will open letting you inside captain quarters where you will find last journal and the real "treasure", which you have been looking for from the beginning. After taking it you will be able to make your way up to crows nest or deck to spectate, how galleon sail on the sand toward the Sea where your ship is waiting on you.
      Just don't forget to jump off the galleon, unless you wish to sunk with it.
      After that, your only concern will be:"How to return back?". However, with "treasure" in your possession, I doubt it will be a challenge.
