must be, I started at port merrick, went to crescent and now am trying to find the fallen star but dunno which island it is

Thanks! Evidently, it wasn't Blind Man's Lagoon (no lantern anywhere on the island)...I'm going to have to come back to it, as I have a prior commitment. Fingers crossed, it lets me start the quest over again when I play next time.

I was thinking lagoon of whispers because of those leaves on the stand but I found it now

Just to give you all the information, my clue was something along the lines of: "After climbing past the fallen mast, facing the stone staircase, I spied between two torches and a pole; a small island surrounded by three sea rocks. Sail to the small island and dig where the Fallen Star lies in the leaves" At the time, I thought "H" was on Shipwreckbay looking past Daggertooth at Blind Man's Lagoon.

Based on @Peony7185's advice, I think I was mistaken. I don't want you to waste your time because I made a mistake. :)

yeah same clues

I went to a lot of wrong islands and had a lot of wrong ideas but it was fun to figure it out.

It´s like a tall tale and the german translation of the clue book is a plain catastrophe.
Even with a solution from a webpage I wasn´t able to figure out what was meant.
Found the key with the webpage but the "tall tale" is that bad translated that its useless.
No fun do do it this way.
