The sun's glare is overwhelming.

  • Please tone down the glare so we can see. I wear glasses so it's even harder. The sunrise is absolutely blinding. Also we don't need the "Sold" notifications; they just get in the way. I know why you have it for alliances but the seller knows they just sold it...Thank you.

  • Have you tried messing with some settings? i have never had issue with sun glare.

  • they added brightness and contrast in the settings

should be able to set it where you want it or at least make it better

  • there's a way to reduce some dimension of the banner of the thing sold? even the milestones' one, it's nice too have them but it's huge

  • I really wish they had given separate settings for the night and day brightness and contrast controls... and maybe transitioned between them as the sun sets. Also could do with a gamma setting.

As it is, making it bright enough to actually see comfortably at night blows out the image during the day, so I can see what the OP is talking about. I'm constantly adjusting those settings.

It's mostly an issue on newer screens, I think. Older LED screens don't really get as dark or bright. You can improve the experience a little bit on new screens by turning off local dimming and other processing that can make the image artificially dark or super contrasted, but it's still not great.

If you're on PC, you can also tweak the image in your graphics control panel. But that's going to affect everything on your PC, so not ideal. But it's an option.

It's also worth nothing that the in-game quality settings can impact lighting and shadows significantly - another reason PvPers will often lower their settings, besides framerate, is that they can see better at night below deck. The game looks terrible though when you do that.

  • Oh, boy wait till you go outside or start driving in the morning, especially if it was raining and the sun came out.

The solution to that is to live east of your work, so both when you go to and return from work, the sun is always behind you! At least until some one figures out how to adjust irl graphics settings! XD

  • Show a screen shot of what you see. I need visual proof with this.

And why are you looking directly at the Sun.

  • @goldsmen It's ok I went to church and sent a request to the dev

  • I've had that problem after I made a good HDR calibration.

Of course I then had to recalibrate so it doesn't get so bright.
