The Best Way to Fish by Yourself

  • So you've decided to hop onto Sea of Thieves to relax by fishing by yourself. You get into a server, buy a bait crate, sail over to the nearest Seaport for the 1.5 times bonus for selling fish, and you grab your AirPods and go to Spotify and you play your playlist and you listen to music while catching many fish. Once you've reached full inventory capacity on fish, you cook the fish, then sell those fish, then resume and keep repeating the cycle. As you're fishing, you see a level 5 Athena sloop coming your way, but you decide not to worry cuz you ain't doing much besides fishing, then all of a sudden you hear a cannon shot, but it's the sound of a person being shot out of a cannon. After about 10 seconds you hear someone say, "What you doin?!" In proximity, and you respond with, "Just fishing while listening to my playlist to relax and earn some money." Then he says, "Mind if we join?" And you say sure, and they make an alliance with you and they sell their loot at the nearest outpost, and they join you in fishing, and you became best friends with them.

Now that that story is out of the way, here's the best way to fish by yourself: You get a bait crate, go to the Sovereigns dock, get your playlist ready, and list to music while you fish, then you have a full inventory of fish and you cook them and then sell them, then continue fishing.

You'll make 1.5 time more if you sell at the Seaposts though.
