So went to lookout area, walked with Murray in hand.
Walked into the fog and Murray gets auto dropped when you get teleported.
My friend and I cannot pick him up now as we teleport back and he is just out of reach.

@panundrum After a amount of time, you should get a notification that murray was returned to the scumm tavern. You do have to wait a bit though, but it makes it so you don't have to restart from a checkpoint.

Ahh ok thank you!This also applies to other objects such as the claw hammer. I dropped that in the fog myself. I simply focused on a different task until the item returned to its original resting location

Strangely when I walked into the fog with Murray to test what would happen, it teleported me back with me still holding Murray.
Am I in the majority or minority with this happening?The same happened to me but Murray just didn't respawn at all. Sometimes this game is so frustrating, hours of game just wasted. They should do something about this lags, I'm just tired of playing for so long to lose all the progress in a matter of seconds in such a silly way. I don't recommend this game at all, waste of money.
