Monkey Island Bugs with Murray

    I have a few things going on (yes I submitted tickets)

    1. First time I got to the murray part I didn't have enough pieces of eight to buy the three headed monkey, I eventually quit
    2. Second time trying I could not place murray's skull on his body, I dropped it near the skeleton, but you are unable to pick anything up off the ground near the skeleton, I eventually quit
    3. Last time I tried, I speed ran through as quick as possible and both things happened, didnt have enough to buy the three headed monkey, and couldnt attach anything to the skeleton. A new strange thing happened though while I was creating my bug ticket: I got a bunch of discovery notifications, and the arms respawned in their original drop spots, Murray's head also disappeared to some unknown location and I can't find it.

    So two questions:

    1. anyone else having similar issues?
    2. are there checkpopints so I dont have to keep starting over? and how do I use them?

    Nope, no issues here.

    Interact with your voyage table, then select Tall Tales, then look for checkpoint for “The Journey to Melee Island”

    Follow this guide step by step and you should have no issues.

    found the pieces of eight, they were in the clock tower. i had to repeat most of the mission even using the checkpoint. all it did was keep the chefs uniform in my inv. got past the bug and stuck on another part now, but thats probably my fault

    Just ran into a problem with Murray. I had him fully assembled and he walked over to the guard to take over his post but I forgot to change the clocktower to show midnight. Murray walked over to the houses on the side, I ran to change the clock to midnight. The bell tolled 12 times but no longer could I interact with Murray at all.
