For the longest time i played sea of thieves and felt no issues with servers but, the addition of Middle East servers to other games like Overwatch 2 and Fortnite made me feel the server difference in games like Sea Of Thieves and its different servers that focus on NA and EU.
Having a server dedicated to my region would help my combat immensely whether it be sword to sword or gun to gun, the reasons being i am underperforming in those categories against people who are on the same skill as me or better. But them being in there servers would give them an advantage most of the time.
